I had a day off, so I was on the net a lot. I bummed at Sydney Film festival, then Joe from P8 invited me to be the cinematographer for a film he and some P8 friends r producing. Im happy to take the role, but the storyline is too serious for my likeing. It actually inspired me to write my own!
This is how the beginnings of my film were created!

Myer. I worked a small shift and time flew by fast yay.
At home, Joseph from PartyCP8 added me on msn. That was random, but I am glad, he is a really fun guy. I bet that me tellin him that I like Nicholas Tse, the first time I met him, had somethin to do with it haha.
At night, Tina and me rocked up at Steph's place. It's my second time seeing Steph since high school. I swear man, we should all go out more often! Anyway Tina and me slid away after an hour to go chill with our boyz, Minh and his crew.
We met up at Minh's videostore, its my first time seeing it. It looks all professional, except its got us gangsta lookin bunch chillin up in there, scaring away the customers haha. Nah jk, its a cool place. Anyway we went to a Cafe and I learned a lot there like Victor's Russian Chinese plus he has cool parents that travel around Europe. Afterwards we ended up in Mounties playin snooker and pool. Minh was so funny there. Finally we went for kebabs in Canley Heights, aah that place has memories. Victor and me were back to our tricks again *wink wink*. At about 1am, Tina and me drove home but the guys went clubbin I think. Their night was only beginning.

PartyCP8 today was fun as always. The highlight was watching the movie re-makes that we made last week! Some were funny as expected, but some I was impressed with. My group's one turned out awesome! Even the judges and students said it was well made. I shall take this as an indication that Im a good cinematographer hehe. Afterwards I had fun 'networking'. Daniel, Iain and I stayed behind and met some new people. It seems I got accepted into the camera crew so yay!
Tonight I didnt go out coz I had a toothache. Instead I was looking up tattoo designs. I want one on my lower back, but I cant find any designs I like. Also, I was bummin here updating this site. D/ Mp3s/ SydFilmFFriday 23 June 06
This morning, about 6.30 am had the most awesome fog I have ever seen! It was a real pea-soup, I could barely see the trafic lights! It reached all the way to the city, cool huh.
Deacons. Everyone was excited over Au's win in the world cup or whatever it was, some people even skipped work! Maybe that explains the quiet spells. I felt kinda uneasy with nothing to do. Oh my contract got extended another month! Thats exciting news.
Tonight, tomtom introduced me to an mp3 downloads site. I finally got the Tokyo Drift soundtrack! Although I love it, I am a bit dissapointed. Nevermind, my fav 'Tokyo Drift' is there! I also dl Bic Runga's latest album, Birds. I developed a strange liking for Bic Runga yesterday or so. I had her song Winning Arrow playin in my head. Im quite impressed with her 'Birds' album! She has a powerful smooth cute voice. I'll buy the cd when the price drops, Im a fan of supporting the artist!
I looked around the Syd Film Festival site some more. Wow one entry- RaChoi- was filmed in Cabramatta! It's inspiring coz I wanna go film my own version of a Cabra story now! All I need is a more interesting story to tell and boom Im gonna outdo this entry! Oh do u know a Nick Tse movie was in last year's festival! New Police Story. I have the DVD but havent actually got about to watching it.
June 25 Deacons/ FilmFestivalThursday 22 June 06
I really liked work today, at Deacons. There was no problems and I got a lot of spare time to hang out on the Sydney Film Festival website. Plus we got given sandwitches. It's like chilling at home!
At night I found the Tokyo Drift Soundtrack site, so I hung out there. I was also on msn, plus I started saving the Sydney Film Festival website. It could be helpful for contacts or ideas later on. MiniDV CameraIt is the winter solstice, from now on we are exiting winter yay.
Today turned out quite unexpected. I went to Canon to fix my video camera and the girl there said I might be better off buying a new one! Repairing it will be over 300 bucks.
I went down the road the Maquarie Mall, but was quite discouraged. There are no camera stores there! I ended up in Myer and omg they had a MiniDV camera for $404. Turns out, it was discounted even more coz of the sale, plus I got an extra-extra discount for signing up for a Myer Credit Card, and I got Myer staff discount ontop of that! In the end I got the camera for $341! Wow thats a blessing!
Also I bought some sexy stripper style stockings! A nice old Myer lady helped me find them, she was wearing some too! Haha u should have seen the camera salesman's face when he was puttin it through the register.
On the net, I finally posted up my DJ decks for sale on sir3n. I hope they sell for $500. They would be better off in a new home where they will be loved. DaVinci Code/ EngrishWorked in Myer, starting in manchaster. It got so bad that they sent me away to Miss Shop! Hahaha thank God! It's like a whole different atmosphere in Miss Shop. Downstairs customers were giving me tons of shit, but upstairs customers were friendly. One even asked me what colour bra I was wearing!.
Afterwards I bought some dark red tops in Miss Shop. Im going through a red phase, coz its the colour of passion ^_~
I finally watched the DaVinci code at the cinemas! The glamour of it all is fading off, but I still liked watching it. It was quite well made, except that some info was changed! The changes just made me confused grr. My verdict is: just stick to the book! I definetly recommend the book over the movie. Although someone who hasn't read the book would enjoy the movie.
At night I hung out at Engrish.com Its the funniest site ever! I was actually laughin at some of the things on there! Everyone head to www.engrish.com
